Native to South America, lemon verbena was brought to Europe by the Spanish and Portuguese in the 17th century. A member of the Verbenaceae family, it is a large, aromatic perennial shrub that typically grows to a height of 7−10 feet. Lemon Verbena essential oil has a fresh, uplifting, citrus-herbal aroma, making it a popular addition to fragrances and home cleaning products. Use this bright, zesty essential oil as a personal or home fragrance, to cleanse the skin and pamper it with antioxidants, or as a midday pick-me-up.
Directions
Topical: Dilute 1 drop with 1 drop of V-6™ or olive oil and apply to desired area as needed.
Aromatic: Diffuse up to 30 minutes 3 times daily.
