Also known as the Damask rose or rose otto, Rosa damascena is a cultivated variety of rose with deeply fragrant pink blossoms. Revered for thousands of years as a symbol of love and romance, the rose is considered the queen of flowers. Rose essential oil has a lush, floral aroma that evokes the beauty of the blossoms from which it is extracted. Steam distilled in a delicate process, it takes 22 pounds of rose petals to produce one 5 ml bottle of Rose essential oil. Enjoyed aromatically, Rose essential oil sets the mood for pampering and romance. Applied topically, it beautifies the skin and leaves it delicately perfumed with a sumptuous aroma.

    Directions

    Topical: Apply 2─4 drops directly to desired area. Dilution not required, except for the most sensitive skin. Use as needed. Aromatic: Diffuse up to 1 hour 3 times daily.
